quem ad finem?

Watch this video invitation from ACL Vice President for Programming and Impact Patrick McFadden.

President Jennie Luongo, the Board of Governors, and Executive Director Sherwin Little warmly invite you to St. Louis, Missouri, for the American Classical League’s 76th Annual Institute to explore our special theme, “quem ad finem?” Our host, Washington University, is the editorial home of APEIRON, the journal of ancient philosophy and science, the John Max Wulfing Coin Collection, an impressive assembly of papyri, and the Kemper Art Museum. The city of St. Louis itself offers no small number of diversions, including the famous Gateway Arch, the Cahokia Mounds, and the one-of-a-kind City Museum for attendees coming with younger children.  A virtual program with a variety of sessions and all plenaries will also be available for those that cannot attend in person.

Registration information will be available March 1, 2023.
