Throughout these curricular units, students will read stories from mythology, history, and historical fiction (mainly through my own novella Fabula Dioclis et Florae), and make relevant connections between ancient and modern society. I will also discuss my modes of assessment and grading based on proficiency, which portray an accurate reflection of the student’s understanding of the material. Furthermore, I will explain briefly in the beginning what students learn in Latin 1, and how Latin 2’s subject.
