Presenter: April Spratley
Track: Innovative Use of Technology
Description: In this webinar, I will give an overview of some digital storytelling tools, such as comics creators, storybook makers, interactive fiction creators, and animation software, that I use in my own classroom. Digital storytelling tools can allow teachers to customize stories to their students interests and levels and to bring greater inclusivity to the stories read in classes. Digital storytelling tools can also be utilized by students themselves to tell their own stories. Participants will be introduced to several new tools and should be able to walk away with materials that are classroom ready.
Part 2 will focus on CYOA/Interactive Fiction and Game Creators.
Date of webinar: November 19, 2022, 12:00 noon EST
