Do you know if it wasn't for a 9th grade Latin teacher, we might not have such classic musicals like Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, or West Side Story? This talk will explore Stephen Sondheim's history with Latin and then look in-depth at two of his musicals, "The Frogs" and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". We'll look at how the Classics today are still impacting the Broadway stage. Presenter - Drew Alvarez
