Each fable is presented over four pages: the first page contains a sensitive English translation by poet Constance Carrier; page two has a Latin version of the fable with vocabulary; page three carries a literal translation; and page four gives a dictionary type vocabulary and a set of questions about the fable to be answered in Latin sentences.
